French bull-dogs are fierce! Is the viewer actually IN the closet with the dogs? If so, I can imagine it would be quite unnerving(clastauphobia plus anxiety). The stuff up above appears to be precarious at best. Scary. Did you do the yellow wall paper. Great detail and proportion work.
the viewer is in the closet! it is a bit longer than an average household bathroom. the strings at the top are actually concreted in, and for the most part well above head-level. the wall paper is hand painted by yours truly!
comments on this work were very good: it seems to bring about stories of bad pets, of surprising incidents that lead to mistrust. the evolution of the english bull dog was also mentioned, that their new mark in the media as being vicious may stem from their displacement from herding jobs on farms.
